I agree, three weeks is plenty...kinda makes me wonder what the f*ck I'm waiting for...

I second the Instrument/Commercial book...I have been studying a lot out of that, but also (this probably sounds stupid) I just picked up the Airplane Flying Handbook and the Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledgde. Both are terriffic books and cover a lot of information...I'd recommend hitting those books too, as well as anything you studied for your Private Written...

...Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the Commercial Written is just a souped up, performance chart-happy, more math version of the Private Written...meaning that there seem to be a few questions on basic navigation and such, but quite a few performance charts and also lots of "time and distance" problems...I find that if I do the charts correctly, I'm doing quite well on the practice tests...

Okie, I think thats it...

Three weeks is definately plenty.

The Jeppesen Instrument/Commercial, Airplane Flying Handbook, and Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge are all excellent books. I think Jeppesen does a great job with graphics and their way of explaining things. The Commercial written is pretty much a Private written, but it does go much more indepth with performance. In all honesty it's alot easier than the Private and Instrument. You shouldn't have a problem at all.

I think I studied for too long for my CFI written, I looked at those questions so many times that I ended up basically memorizing it.....I couldn't help but memorize it going through that book so many **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** times. Just knowing the answers to the test quuestions definitely had nothing to do with having all of the knowledge necessary to be a CFI, but it did help me learn which subjects I needed to know better before taking my practical/oral test.
