Disaster has struck! For some reason known only to Bill and his IT croonies, my Internet Explorer Favorites list has disappeared........

I have recently come across a website, aviation related obviously, that offers a search option, of operators, per state, per FAR part....

i.e. you can search Oregon for part 121,137,135 operators and it'll kick out a list off operators, both fixed wing and rotary wing.

I think it was actually a helicopter site, but cant find it again......please heeeelllppp!!!!

I'm not exactly sure of the site that you mentioned. However, on the FAA website there is a list of Pt. 135 and probably Pt. 121 carriers. I stumbled across that list a few years ago but I haven't used it since. I'm sure it's still there though.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

I've had my favorites disappear before for no apparent reason. If you're using Windows, do a search on "favorites." They are still in your hard drive. Copy them all, then paste them into the empty favorites window that pops up on IE when you click the "favorites" folder.

Just remember that you might have multiple folders named "favorites" in your hard drive, depending on your version of Windows, and other programs you might have. Make sure you copy and paste the right one by first opening it from the file search window.
