Hi, just wondering if anyone around here runs or owns a pilot shop?

If i wanna start one is there a special distribution lane i should know about or is it basically to work with all different types of distributors (books, stickers,tshirts,headsets) company for companY?

edmo.com aviall.com and allpointsdist.com a few sources for you. may be a few others but edmo is good place to start.

Were you thinking of opening one online or at a local airport? The online market is pretty saturated right now.

It helps out a lot if you already have an aviation business to establish lines of credit with the various distributors. Initial stock for a pilot shop is also very expen$ive.
