fltinfo.com stinks... Having flown with people who use it, the thing has a nasty tendency to not get flight plans on file. I can't tell you how many times I've been sitting with two engines running only to be told by ATC that, "we have nothing on you..." My standard answer is, "let me guess, fltplan.com right ???"

Just use www.duats.com and be done with it. I go to www.intellicast.com for radar and satellite imagery.

I use intellicast.com for radar and duats.com for everything else. I'm still old school and use the phone to file.

We use Fltplan.com all the time with no problems. Maybe on a short notice trip it might mess up and not file it, but I have put trips in within a half hour of departure and had no problems with it.

Just about our whole department uses fltplan.com and we very rarely see any screw ups on their part. Matter of Fact, when looking at planning routes, weather (metars, tafs, alternate weather) Notams, and filing, I can't think of a better service that puts all of the above factors and more into 1 package and makes it user friendly. In my opinion, u can't beat it.

Maybe it was just me, but when I was there it seemed like I was seeing this problem more often... You're right about the abundance of info. it provides, I guess I'm just old school. Reading a fltplan.com printout was like reading a novel. I like the good old fashioned undecoded duats.com brief. I get a verbal brief from FSS and then just print out an abbreviated brief from duats.com.
