Can anyone tell me what is the best site to use for the Online FIRC. My CFI expires in April. I'd like to get it over with as soon as possible..i was wondoring if anyone had any comments on the online method and if anyone can recommend a website. (gleim, AOPA..etc...
thanks..

I just completed mine through Gleim and I was impressed with their course. I would recommend it.

I used Gleim two years ago and just finished the Jepp/ASF online refresher a few weeks ago. They were both interesting and relatively painless to complete. It probably isn't fair for me to say too much about the Gleim, since they have undoubtedly improved the course since I used it. I will say that the graphics in the Jepp/ASF version were excellent and really helped make the course interesting. I completed the 16 units after spending an average of 30-45 minutes per unit.
I'm sure that either one would work well for you, but I think that both offer sample lessons if you'd like to see which one is more appealing.
Good luck.

I too used the Gliem FIRC. I found it very easy to use and very informative as well.

It was very interesting. After years of going to the weekend ground school courses I would have to say the I would rather go to the weekend course. I'm old and miss the "aviation stories" that are told at the breaks. Plus, these courses are normally held at airports, another plus.

This time I was pressed for time because of my schedule.

Thanks guy..i already started the Gleim online program. Its good so far..very easy to use.

thanks for the responses.
