COLGAN HAS A BROKEN $AAB IN GRK (DA HOOD), AND ONCE AGAIN, SKYWEST FLIES TO THE RESCUE. WILL WE EVER BE ABLE TO LEAVE TEXAS?

Wow. Nice font.

I'm sure Colgan will require Skywest's fluffing services until we get several more Saabs online. Then we will move the fluffing in-house.

Anyone else think this guys got a bad case of Tourrette's?

Tourette Syndrome (TS), first described by Gilles de la Tourette, can be the most debilitating tic disorder, and is characterized by multiform, frequently changing motor and phonic tics. The prevailing diagnostic criteria include onset before the age of 21; recurrent, involuntary, rapid, purposeless motor movements affecting multiple muscle groups; one or more vocal tics; variations in the intensity of the symptoms over weeks to months (waxing and waning); and a duration of more than one year.

All I can say is I hope you're not working my flights...

SO WHAT IF **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** I HAVE Tourette Syndrome? **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** WHAT DOES THAT MATTER? **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**

Now THATS funny !!!!!!!!!!!!

So... What about all of the skywest breakdowns. Every time I take off on 15L, I cannot help but notice there ALWAYS seems to be more Skywest Brakill'yas sitting at their MX facility, than there are jets at XJT's MX facility. Given there are about 90 more 145's in IAH than 120's this equates to bad odds. IMHO.

Everybody has breakdowns, but the Skywest and Colgan track record in IAH sucks, for lack of better terminology. Skywest got the boot over this, and it looks like Colgan is trying hard also.

Place your bets. Who's next after Colgan gets fired? Are there ANY non-union carriers left??? Not that being non-union has much to do with your MX problems.

You could at least wait until colgan has all the airplanes in place in IAH. Any place has growing pains at first. They also have to get all the crews trained as well. Sometimes the plane might be sitting due to no crew, not mx.

Man, coex is the best airline out there! I think you guys like that! skywest did not get booted; we quit because coex rampers sucks. You know it!

Those my friend are CAL rampers, not ExpressJet rampers. Getting into a pissing match isn't going to do anything but get our shoes wet.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH WHAT EVERYONE HAS SAID, BUT I MUST MAKE A FEW POINTS....

-COLGAN KNEW THAT THEY MIGHT GET THE COC CONTRACT, AND HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO RAMP UP FOR THE CONTRACT. THIS GETTING ANOTHER AIRPLANE EVERY THREE WEEKS IS JUST STUPID.
-COLGAN MX IN IAH IS NOT PREPARED FOR EVEN ONE AIRPLANE. JUST LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED LAST WEEK....
-WE GOT THE BOOT BECAUSE THE EMB IS THE WRONG AIRPLANE FOR TX. WITH THE INCREASED PAX WEIGHTS, AND THE FACT THE WE HAD TO OPERATE 4 POS EMB'S THAT CO OWNS, WE COULD NEVER FILL UP A FULL AIRPLANE. THE WX IN TX JUST SUCKS, AND THE LIST OF AVAILABLE ALTERNATES IS PRETTY SLIM. YOU CAN'T PARK 56 AIRPLANES AT CLL AT ONCE YA KNOW.
-THE RAMPERS IN IAH, WHOMEVER THE HELL THEY ARE, DO SUCK. THEY CAN NEVER SEEM TO GET AN AIRPLANE OUT ON TIME, BUT SURE KNOW WHERE IN THE HELL THE BASKETBALL HOOP IS.

-OUR MX IN IAH WAS A PROBLEM, BECAUSE MOST OF THE TIME, THOSE 4 POS BRO'S WE HAD TO OPERATE WERE KEPT FLYING BY DUCT TAPE AND BAILING WIRE BY CO AND COEX.

I REST MY CASE

I cannot help but notice there ALWAYS seems to be more Skywest Brakill'yas sitting at their MX facility,
AvTex

Those Brasilias are called Spares You know, the a/c that are frequently called upon to cover for broken Saabs.

That's really funny you say that....since Colgan doesn't even fly there, how would they have a broken aircraft there??? (which they don't)

Check again, they don't fly there until April 15th.
So like I said...no broken airplane in GRK!

Yes they do! or at least they try.....

Fellas, it intrigues me how a Colgan Saab would make it down to GRK when they are not scheduled to fly in there for still a couple of weeks. Take your fantasies to the Continental Airlines website--that's www.continental.com in case you're so enraged at Colgan that you can't think straight (which is aparent by some of your posts)--and try to book a flight from IAH to GRK and check out the aircraft you'll be placed on... the Bra120. Strange, isn't it?

Good luck in your further quest for anti-Colgan propaganda.

just my two cents,

you can only ramp up some much for a contract you might get, having 14 extra a/c sitting around b/c you committed to them and didn't get the contract would not work. plus, colgan is getting most of them saabs if not all of them from CEX and we only have 6 more days of operations so they'll have them soon enough. another issue is from what i can tell about the emb-120 and knowing the saab they both seem to be plagued by the same problem with increasing pax weights. we went from 34 + 1 jumpseater and a whole lot of bags to 30 with the same amount of bags. both a/c seem to be in the same boat. having worked on the saab as well, it is a good plane but does have some quirks, they have a hard life though on our routes lots of t/o's and landings in a day. all around a good a/c. great to fly. an airplane is an airplane they all have there issues. good luck to all the chico guys and girls over at colgan, hopefully you can get 305 and 306 to cool down in the texas heat.

**CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** dude, I couldn't help notice all the really great aircraft you've flown. What are you doing at skywest?

hey man things break even jets...not a day goes by in iah that coex insn't calling ops for mx issues....the rjs r what 5-7 yrs old... saabs are 20yrs....im not putting down coex....they r a great company...but dont give us **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** because a 20 yr old plane breaks down....

So then... You don't actually have ANY experience in the airplanes you listed? Short of a FAM ride, that is?

Get your story straight. And get over using the caps, too...

You're a dispatcher....? Then you should know what flights your aircraft is covering, and for which airline as well. Get off your soapbox.

Please do!!

Spares...we used to have those at Corporpate,
er, yeah, Regions Air...used to have reserve pilots
too...till about a year ago! (When they started
leaving for greener pastures).

No one will tell me when we are changing the
callsign, either. But they didn't tell anyone
about changing the name (and now most
of our jumpseat agreements are shot) so what
can I expect?

Do us all a favor and shut the **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** up. If your that bored between releases...try pulling each other's pud in the corner cubicle...then at least you'll be getting some.

IF YOU HAD ANY IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON, I WOULD SAY WELCOME TO THE CONVERSATION, BUT YOU DON'T SO PLEASE JUST STAY AWAY.
