Lets call a spade a spade. We are just as screwed up as the majors.

This is ALL union memembers at ALL levels......our union has failed us and is continuing to try and hide the problem instead of getting us all together to find a solution.
AviatorTx said:I agree that ALPA needs to take more of a leadership stance here. At the same time, if National does not, individual pilot groups need to nut up and stop backing down. Time to look in the mirror and take your share of the responsibility.

The union is not the problem. Which Union do you refer to? ALPA or Teamsters Aviation? Heck, Skywest is one of the most guilty (70 seat for 50 seat pay), and they are NOT union. I agree that ALPA needs to take more of a leadership stance here. At the same time, if National does not, individual pilot groups need to nut up and stop backing down. So far, nobody seems to have found their testicles. Oh weeee, we just want more jets. Shiny jet syndrome is turning into a full blown crack-like addiction.
Time to look in the mirror and take your share of the responsibility.
