St Pete/Clearwater has probably sheltered more Airline-start-up scalawags, scumbags and wannabes than any other US airport, so it's not surprising that's where they reached him for comment. The list is long and ignominious: Red Carpet, Sun Jet, Air South, Eastwind (?), Southeast . . There was another one that didn't even launch, but burned pilots and pax out of millions back in the early 1990's . .. can't remember the name of that particular airline that wasn't . . .
