Just received my invite to the open house for May 16th. I have done my research, however, I was wondering if anyone wanted to give me any info on QOL, pay and how hard it is to get BWI for a base. Thanks!

as far as I know your home based. Need to have 3 airlines serving the city you live by. I think you need to live 1.5 hrs from that city. I dont work there but I heard that from a friend.

Thanks for the reply. I had to laugh when I saw this. I ended up going and only worked there for 6 months. It's a complete hell hole. :)

They only have home basing for pilots. Lucky bastards :)

QOL is horrible, gone and sitting RSV in Germnay and Kuwait for 20 days at a time. Pay was great if you worked on your days off, but than that would mean you would be gone 25 days straight out of the month. BWI, LAS, MSP, ATL are the bases for FA's.

Yep, that's him. He and his wife just had a baby. Maybe that will calm him down. He was in MSP about a month ago, he's doing well. I no longer work there, so that's about all I know.

I just met an ex-Omni FA today and she had nothing good to say about working there, and even less good to say about the pilots. She didn't elaborate on the latter.

That doesn't surprise me. The pilots were not the sharpest tools in the shed. And to top it off, I did not meet ONE married pilot that DIDN'T sleep with a flight attendant. HeLL, half of them were probably married, but I could never tell as most would take off there wedding band before the trip even started.

Having seen many Omni FA's in the E concourse in ATL, you would have to be extremely desperate to sleep with any of them! Looks like Omni must have recruited from all the Chick-fil-A's in ATL!

Yeah, that about proves what an idiot CHQFA is. Probably pissed that nobody slept with her.
