I interviewed in Sept 2002 and was put in a pool and was not officially hired until my March 5th class date. I think I put my resume in around August 2002, so it took longer to get into class than it took to get an interview. No union, first year f/o pay is around $50.34, I forget because before I was making nothing, so anything is better and I am flying again. I have a payscale sheet somewhere, but misplaced it. Basic medical and dental, not great, not bad. Interview is very basic, they just want to get to know you a little, no tech questions and no sim ride. Whether it is worth it for you or not is your decision, for me it was worth it because I was unemployed and didn't think I would ever fly again. Everyone is home based and they fly you to your trip, but that means they want to keep you out for as long as possible so they don't spend so much on airline tickets. They can have you out for 18 days with 12 days off a month.
