Any ideas as to where I can sell numerous flight manuals (Boeing, Douglas, numerous flight safety LR/LR-60,Hawker xp, etc.... ) . Is it even legal to sell them these days?

Legal? Sure. Ebay is full of flight manuals. Companies like ESSCO (http://www.esscoaircraft.com) buy and sell manuals. You might even try offering them here in the buying/selling section.
