Our Contract Negotiators met with management today in Savannah, Georgia for
the first of a three-day session of mediated negotiations. Management
presented its proposal on Section 18 - Instructor Pilots and discussion
continued throughout the day with the two parties working to resolve the
remaining issues in that section. Check out the attached CNC Session
Briefing for a detailed accounting of the day's activities.

Mediated negotiations resumed today in Savannah, GA. The session began as management presented its proposal on Section 18 - Instructor Pilots. Discussion continued through the day with the parties working toward resolving the remaining issues in that section. The CNC is still being advised by an Instructor Pilot as we attempt to resolve the issues within Section 18.
The committees also spent time reviewing the language in sections agreed to for tentative agreement (T/A) Sections: 7 Vacation, and 26 General.
The contractual sections with issues remaining open are: Section 1 – Scope; Section 3 – Compensation; Section 5 - Traveling Expenses; Section 12 - Hours of Service; Section 18 - Instructor Pilots; Section 27 – Retirement; Section 28 - Insurance and; Section 30 - Duration. Within these sections there are approximately 30 open issues remaining. We anticipate passing proposals on these sections before the end of the week.
Mediated negotiations will resume December 7 and 8 in Savannah, GA.

I heard the contract was actually finished, they were just going to Savannah to party. Used the contract as an excuse for the wives.

I heard the same thing only they are going to redo the compensation section b/c they spent way to much on strippers last night. I heard it from a "very reliable source".

Confirmed

The following sections were TA'd:
8 - Deadhead
14 - Sick Leave
25 - Miscellaneous Flying
26 - General
Section 7 - Vacation is under final review (language). The concepts have been agreed to and a TA is expected.
