Just got back from the Dayton airshow and the best part was the single engine landing by a Northwest 757....that's right, they declared an emergency after an apparent precautionary engine shutdown enroute and descended into DAY. They needed the long runway where the airshow was going on so they stopped the airshow while the aircraft came in. Crew did a great job, especially with several thousand people to cheer them on. Even better was the narration by the airshow announcer who was a current or former AA pilot. He did a great job explaining the situation to the crowd and the details involved, including what the crew was going through. Not something you see every day but made for a great airshow!
