I'm under the impression that NWA has long call (10 hours) and short call (2-3 hours) reserve lines.

My question. What percentage of lines are long vs short call. Specifically for DC9 Fo's?

Thanks

Yes, NWA does have long and short call reserve on both the wide and narrow body a/c. You can bid the long/short call status each day you are on reserve, or put in a standing bid for a defined (by you) period of time. I believe that long call is 12 hours and short call is basically do your best to get there as soon as possible, but if given 3 hrs notice, you are expected to make checkin.

The matrix that determines the number of long vs. short is 1:3 (1 long for every 3 short) through 8 pilots on reserve and 1:2 from 9 on.

Currently, reserve on the -9 is a pretty good gig, if you live in base.
