Did I miss the class drop for the Jan. 14th class at NWA?

Did the class start? If so, what was the drop? Thanks.

Would the bottom guys have been stuck with the SO slots if the 3 didn't volunteer? OR are the SO slots being offered to whomever wants it now? is this a new thing because they know people are going to bid out of it ASAP if forced to take it? Thanks for the info!!

What's wrong with sittin' sideways and fetchin' coffee?

No one would have been forced to ANC. The 3 that wanted it volunteered and got it. (Along with a month off, paid, due to backups in training)

Hey exeagle, any backup on the -9 or is it a straight shot through training?

Pretty much a straight shot through. 6 got a week off, the other 7 roll right into systems after indoc. (This was preferenced in seniority order) Not sure yet about sim/ioe.

DC-9 training is IP-limited right now, but Dom just got permission to run his crew up to 21 events if needed.

The sims are holding-up (better than our's on the A320!), and he's got plenty of OE instructors at the back end.

The problem is that a lot of our vacation allocations were jammed into the 1st Qtr, so they've been bringing a lot of us into NATCO with vacation on our lines...something previously verboten!

The vacation credit makes us "inefficient" unless they run us into overtime (spelled: "$$$$").

Anytime they need us to be "flexible" we tend to gain leverage. Looks like a flexible time for us.
