Hey, I have searched this board . . . in the majors section, FA section, even the regionals section . . .

Wasn't today when they were supposed to start chaos? At 11:45am or something like that? There's no mention of it anywhere . . . what's the latest? Anybody?

Thanks - gotta know how to get home. :)

Tommorow, Friday 25 August, 9:01PM, unless the Fed Court f*cks unions once and for all. Stay tuned....

Ten bucks they settle...but then again I wonder if the FAs have a bigger pair than us pilots. Someone needs to make a stand - and everyone just keeps bending over waiting for the other guy to do it. Sad...

The union left the table. Northwest joined with the Department of Justice in filing for an injunction before the US district court of New York. The rolling 'CHOAS' strike is set for 10PM Eastern. The judge should rule one way or the other by then. I hope he rules that they have a full legal right to work action, just like Judge Gropper did.

As said here previously, I believe that all management groups knew there would be a window of opportunity to rape the labor groups. That window is rapidly closing with increasing profits across the board. It will become increasingly harder for them to continue to ask for concessions as the profits continue to pile up.

Found it as of 1521.

NEW YORK, Aug 25 (Reuters) - A New York federal judge on Friday issued a temporary injunction preventing Northwest Airlines Corp. (NWACQ.PK: Quote, Profile, Research) flight attendants from striking, and said he needed more time before ruling on the matter.
"The court believes time for consideration for examining the bodies' arguments more exhaustively is essential," said Judge Victor Marrero in federal court in Manhattan after hearing arguments from flight attendants and the air carrier. "The court's rendering of a determination at this time would not be prudent."

Wow, looks like the judge took the wind out of the F/A's sails. I guess you're really up $h|tcreek now that the judge is against you. Where are those balls all the F/As talked about?

Don;t forget the Afa delayed it ten days and basically set themselves up. How stupid, they should of walked out on the 15th. Who side is the union on anyway?

Sounds like the FA's union is as big of a joke as the pilot's union is (don't forget to pay your dues though)

Actually it is the AFA-CWA and they don't have much of a strike fund for NWA anyway. Stupid is correct -- but then again the union is only as good as its members.
