Just wondering how many jumpseats NWA allows for another airline, how hard it is to jumpseat with them, and the non rev number. Thanks for any info

NWA allows 2 "offline" pilots and its walk up only. Have to be listed on the approved list.

...in addition to the flight deck jumpseat(s) utilized by NWA personnel or authorized OAL pilots.

(1) flightdeck js per DC-9, 757
(2) per Airbus, 747, dc10

I think I got that right.

Jim is right.

Conceivably, you could have 4 OAL jumpseaters IF there were only 2 passenger seats available and both flightdeck jumpseats were not in use.

Obviously, the number of OAL j/s is reduced to 3 if the a/c has only one cockpit jumpseat.

And sadly, the number of OAL j/s is reduced to a measly 2 if there are 100 open pax seats.

How is it that NW pilots can continue to agree to paycuts without correcting this b-s policy? I guess it is still better than Continental's suck-@$$ jumpseat policy. :puke:
