News reports say that Saddam's sons were killed in an early morning raid in Mosul, Iraq. Al Jazeera is confirming that the 4 people killed were Saddams sons, Uday and Qusay as well as a grandson and one body guard. This was from Iraqi witnesses on the ground as well as the owner of the building that was raided. The white house is supposed to be holding a press conference shortly. Bush was supposedly briefed by Rumsfeld shortly after the raid personally. Government sources were claiming the military is cofident with 80% accuracy that the bodies are those of the Hussein Sons.

So, who thinks this will stay accurate? With Al Jazeera actually supporting the US rumors, I'd say it may actually be real this time.

It's official...

Yup, CENTCOM has confirmed that Saddams' sons were killed earlier today. Anyone else watch the History channel last night? "The Sons of Saddam" was on, those guys made their father look like a saint.

Why did Saddam give his boys names in pig-Latin, anway?
