Could someone PM me with either the name of Northwest's DTW Chief Pilot or the name of the DTW Assistant Chief Pilot?
I have a 5 hour sit in Detriot this week and would like to drop off my resume.
Thanks

I know the USA Jet Chief Pilot, maybe you have time to run over to YIP?

I noticed a half dozen followed suit immediately. Shows we still have the pricing power.

In any business where companies compete for a limited number of customers, the company that charges the least for it's services almost always has the pricing power.

What the increase in ticket prices shows me is that SWA is now having to charge more for tickets because the price they're paying for fuel has increased.

STUPID post SWAFO hey I see yall raised fares today...starting to get to you guys isn't it???

Yeah, charging a price and making a profit... what a concept. We have pricing power baby!!!

yeah - baby double post!!! You like that one?

Does Southwest still have the lowest operating cost or does AirTran? Any rumors at Southwest about ATL service. ATL ground controller mentioned Southwest corporate people visited asking about the new south terminal. He said that the rumor alone will put AAI and DAL out of business as they try to outbid each other for new gates.

Pure logic...something in short supply in the airline industry.....and your point???

No point... Just pointing out that having pricing power isn't such a BFD.

I guess I should've just said, "pricing power  "...

Cat-like

yeah - baby double post!!! You like that one?
Like you double posted on purpose. That's like the cat that falls off of the fence and lands like a sack of bricks. Then it hops up and looks around as if to say..."I meant to do that...I'm cool!";)

Sorry your question was never answered regarding the phone number for the CP, however you might try just asking a random Northwest pilot you see on break to walk you in b/c my buddy just tried leaving a message to his airline of choice and his phone cut out. Now he has to either do the awkward redial or just pretend they got his name and number. Good luck.
