Has anyone here used NWA cargo to get a ride lately? I checked the ALPA guide but it doesnt say anything about the cargo side. I found their schedules online but I am not sure who to call to list. Any help would be good thanks.

As far as I know, offline jumpseat on cargo carriers is still not allowed by the FAA. That might change soon, though.

Cargo J/S

I believe that as long as the carrier has seating aft of the flight deck then you can jumpseat. I know Atlas and Polar have been taking jumpseaters after the 11th. Might wanna check though.

I spoke to the captain that was flying the NWA cargo plane out of CVG to Anchorage the other day, and he said they could not carry jumpseaters. Only if you work for NWA. They even load the plane at a Delta gate, but they still can't do it. I also spoke with a DHL pilot, and he said they could take jumpseaters on the Airbus fleet, as it had a cockpit door. I hope this helps you.

That is about what I suspected. There are many cargo carriers that can takes jumpseaters again but unfortunately NWA is not among them it seems. Now if we could just get Fedex and UPS back that would be great...
