Northwest Airlines Flight Almost Hijacked??

My dad heard something about on June 29th how a Northwest Airlines flight almost got hijacked. Anyone know anything about this???? I heard the govt is keeping real quiet on it and today I saw F16s patroling for the first time since 9/11.......

I have heard water cooler speculation from a few folks that the Northwest flight that landed at Ellsworth AFB instead of Rapid City, SD may not have been a mistake but rather a response to an onboard situation.
