has anyone flown for northern states aviation? they are based out of NY and do aerial imaging. looks like the pilots fly all over the place in 172's. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi-

I flew for a competitor based in NY. From my understanding, its a good company. Think the pay is about $24,000 to start. However, during the summer months, the aerial survey/photo operations do slow down. Sometimes pilot who work for these companies do get furloughed for the summer months. Think the pilots there are away from home base for many months at a time too. However, I enjoyed flying photo much more then CFIing.
