I'm at Air Wisconsin and commute ELM to Philly pretty easy, hardly ever need to buy hotels. Philly at Detriot are the only two cities served from Elmira

Piedmont has a SYR base, it wouldn't be a bad drive for you. Beats the heck out of commuting by airline. Depending on where you are, MDT could be a decent option as well.

my fellow piedmontsters might hate me for offering you up to the management at piedmont...but piedmont is a very good option for you as well. being able to drive to SYR or even MDT/HAR would make your life at Piedmont much better than airline commuting. Plus loads out of ELM can get rather full sometimes.

For now, Colgan has several bases near you..Ithaca, Binghampton, Syracuse, then a litlle farther out Albany, Roc, Buff etc.. If your going to fly a Turboprop go there and get a quick upgrade as opposed to Piedmont.
