The pay rates go up, approx 10% for FO,s as long as you get on the property before its signed. Cause with the TA the new hires will be lower. The real problem here is the way that they calculate reserve credit. Most of the lines here are reserve, and the TA is a step backward for reserve pilots here for days spent on reserve, but arent called.

Well, I'd like to thank the guys who flew me home from the middle east on August 11th. That North American 767 looked really good from the pavement when I was boarding. Thanks!!

How about some more specifics from the NAA TA. Some of those guys are telling us that you are getting a good contract, is that true? Are you happy with IBT or would you rather have voted ALPA in?

Thx.

It sounds like it's going to be voted down. Everyone that I talked to said that they think it sucks.
I interviewed there last week and if I get an offer the only way I'll be able to afford to go is if the TA is turned down.

Well Dave called to offer me the job starting on Oct.22!!
I know that you guys have to vote on the TA next week. If it passes wouldn't I make it in before it's signing date of NOV. 1 and therefore be grandfathered?

Congratulations on the call. We are glad to have you on board. My belief is that, yes, you will be grandfathered in under the current pay rates and not those imposed under the new contract. I will see if I can get a more definitive answer for you. Contrary to all the hype about the TA, this is a decent place to work....lots of great people and destinations...

Everyone says the TA sucks but can someone shed some light on what sucks about it? If its so bad why is it even out for a vote? I would think there has to be something good in it.

Thank god!!!
I thought it might have been expected because HR changed the pay back to the current rate in my offer letter.
That's great, now I don't have to sell my Ferrari.

Also Atlas, but who wants to commute to London and they work you like a dog!!

Oh and NAA didn't require a type rating for me to start.
