What?

What about that John Lennon song in the Nike commercial?

I gotta think he was rolling in his grave.

It made me sick.

I always think of a waitress named Molly, and a pitcher of Old Style, at the old Genna's lounge on University Ave. in Madison. But that's probably just me...

You can thank Michael Jackson for that one. He outbid Paul McCartney for the rights to the Beatles music, then sold the music to Nike for a commercial.

I had forgotten about that.

Another reason to lock him up

:D I had the same reaction when I unpacked our new Martha Stewart patio furniture (brought to you by K-Mart) and discovered that no assembly hardware had been included.

"The bitch should be in jail..."

(I got over it...probably not her fault.)

I'm actually a fan of that commercial...that's one of my favorite Zeppelin songs...

What about The Hummer commercial using Happy Jack , the allergy medicine commercial using Overture from Tommy,
the CSI shows using Who Are You and Won't Get Fooled Again.

Pete's been selling out big time in the last few year, but I guess I don't blame him. At least they were HIS songs to sell.

Michael Jackson has been walking around free for WAAAAAAY too long, for a variety of reasons.

what about Pictures of You by the Cure on the HP commercial for some digital camera. i don't care for the product but the song is cool.
