TWA (the mod - not the airline), closed down the last age three-score and five thread using cruelty to dead horses as the reason. What I am proposing here is a thread related to that issue without discussing its merits (or lack therof).

Here are the questions:
Is it feasible to re-instate a lower maximum age as part of an agreement between a union and an airline?
Would this be considered a favorable thing or a concession on the part of the airline?
Would this be considered a favorable thing or a concession on the part of the union?
Are there any age discrimination issues to consider that would block its implementation?
If both sides see it as favorable and there are no age discrimination issues to consider, why wouldn't it be made part of the next round of TAs?

Please discuss only these issues without degenerating into a horse flogging contest.

All it would take is 1 person to say age discrimination and it would not hold up in court. It is a moot question and will only create a thread of bashing and hate. You might as well post a thread on abortion.

What do you have against baby killers? Starting a thread on abortion would be so boring.
