Well said-
It's not anti-capitalist to believe getting paid much more than you earn is as bad as welfare-

Middle class producers are getting screwed

I haven't. And no legacy pilot can say the same.

"Want to live like a republican, you have to vote democrat."- Harry Truman

Patiently waiting for pilots to vote in their own self interest instead of beating this ridiculous tax drum.

Want to live like a democrat.
Just stop working. You'll get a phone, welfare, unemployment (for 2 years) and not have to contribute anything to society.
Oh yeah, and you can pass on your debt to your children and grand children!;)

Well said. It's the non-working welfare grabbers screwing the middle class as well as any other group.

Except that the numbers don't back that up-

An easy target.

Guess what? Nobody wants to work their arse off just to make a few at the top rich. The problem is systemic, and yes- the rich have been stacking the deck in their favor for 3 decades now and the systemic problems of a shrinking middle class are coming to roost. Of course welfare rolls are increasing- we're in a brutal downturn and there aren't the well paying jobs there used to be- meanwhile executive compensation increases steadily year over year over year while the middle class stays stagnant in pay if you can manage to stay in it at all, -

Connect the dots people.

Increasing #'s on welfare has a cause. You're blaming the wrong people.

So let me get this right. It's the educated upper class that is driving the millions of those sitting at home collecting 400 a wk with 5 kids from making a solid living for themselves. Interesting persepective. Me, I tend to think that people these days have a complex that even in the most dire of circumstances feel they are too good for certain positions. Especially when you can sit at home and make more draining the country for 2yrs while you wait for that CEO job with a High School education. There is no shame anymore in being worthless.

Want to know why welfare is up so much? They've loosened the standards and are encouraging people the take it. Why? Because JP Morgan, who runs the EBT card program gets a cut, and it's astronomical how much money they're making. How did this happen? Lobbying Washington. Know why we went to EBT cards instead of the old actual food stamps? Bleeding heart liberals thought it was too demeaning and embarrassing for those on them (duh, motivation to get off the program). Now it's rife with abuse and corruption.

Until politicians have term limits (and thus motivation to do whats right, vice incentive to do what will get them reelected), problems like this will always be systemic. They all disgust me, however demonizing the rich for stacking the deck in their favor? Well they're playing by the rules so to speak. Want to even the playing field, then yank that carpet out from under them.

You raise a question though with your constant rants about how over paid corporate execs are.... how much do you think they should make in a free-market economy? How do you see limitations being put in place to make it "fair" yet keep competition and the free market working?

Rants?
Again it's not socialist to think the Tom Horton's haven't earned what they get

F$&k both you Democrats and Republicans. Both parties are destroying this country. You both are to blame, so scruw you!

This we can agree on. "Rants" may be a little harsh.

Also agree. I'm a libertarian. Try and at least spell check in your blind rage.
