Fellow Pilots:

Please accept this most recent addition of Where we are for your review.

WHERE WE ARE (12/04/2008)

Mid morning today, the National Mediation Board (NMB) advised the JBPA that a decision has been reached with regard to our voting window and general election timeline. Below, please find the summary of that data for your review. The publically available NMB representation manual remains a valuable resource for understanding this process and its mechanisms. www.nmb.gov Furthermore, JBPA volunteers stand ready to answer your questions regarding this important process at any time.

Scheduled NMB Mailings:

Notice and Sample Voting Instructions 12/30/2008

Voting Instructions ID numbers and PIN information Mailed to Employees 01/06/2009

Voting Period:

01/06/2009 through 02/03/2009

Scheduled Date for Voting Tally:

02/03/2009

We are pleased that the investigator has assigned the voting window in such a manner as to allow for the consideration of the holiday season and all the challenges that it represents. Your right to make this pivotal career decision requires your full attention and housing the election outside of a period of distraction underscores a deep respect for that choice.

With the voting window now defined, please contact xxxxxx or xxxxxx immediately if you will be in a position to have limited access to US Mail for any reason. If you know of any pilots who may be faced with this challenge, please contact them personally and direct them to our attention so that we can assist them to the maximum extent possible.

Respectfully,

Your JetBlue Pilots Association

“Our Company, Our People, Our Association”

I know this could never happen but it's too bad we couldn't start an LCC union. The pilots of Southwest, Airtran, Jetblue, Spirit, and Frontier would be a big group.

Good luck to the JBPA!

1st they ignore you

then they mock you

then they punish you

then you win

No problem, guys. As they said in Casablanca;

"Welcome to the fight."
