I guess the handwriting is clearly on the wall down in Savannah. The first of the management folks bailed today. Many more to follow over the next couple of years. Welcome to 1108 boys and girls.

My therapist instructed me to spend 24 hours in my happy place before returning to tell you what an idiot you are!

Those rats you’re speaking of happen to be my management team whom I am grateful for.

Those “rats”:

· Offered to charter out a customer flight and fly me 4 hours nonstop in the GIV the night my mother died.
· Gave me one month off (full pay) when my newest daughter was born.
· Work my schedule around birthdays, anniversaries, and kindergarten graduation
· Flew my classmate home (1st class) and rented a car for him when his grandfather died during indoc training.

You don’t have a clue to what you’re spewing, but please believe what you want. We’ll see who has the last laugh when it is show time in 3 years.

WPP--It's "you're", not "your". Geez.

No, I'm not an English major. I'm a journalism major. Close. ;) TC

P.S.--BTW, your "happy place" is in Pt. 91... :)

Bill,

Sorry to hear about your Mom. I didn't know about the company offer but similar things have happened in the past.

I'll see you in the V, 550, 450 next year. We'll discuss your grammar, syntax, punctuation and spelling then.

BTW, don't worry about Starman. He's been delusional over NJA/NJI for a loooong time.

Thanks man,

It was last summer. She had cancer and went quickly, which was a blessing looking back. Okatie sent flowers to the funeral home. They didnt say from "Joe and Bill", they said from "your NJI family, if you need anything just ask". And that was after they called the owner and explained the situation, and told them a LearJet would be picking them up in Jackson Hole, the Gulfstream was leaving. I told them that wasn't needed, but appreciated. I made it home in time to say goodbye.

Where I come from, that goes a long way in making an employee loyal. But then again we just raised the needed $2700 for the "Temp Agency"receptionist whose daughter needs a liver transplant. Our employees are the best of the best, not because of what we fly or how we look, or how we brag; but because the overwhelming majority of NJI crews care about their fellow man!

Wolfpack Pilot
(just another Gulfstream Pilot)

I don't think you have a clue! What the company did for you when you needed help is not an NJI thing...it is a Netjets thing. It doesn't matter if your are with NJI, EJM or NJA, the company ALWAYS looks out for its people in times of crisis. I could list many examples of this, but those of us who have been around for a while know about the help we get if needed.

A huge loss for NJA was a one time payment for pilot "signing bonuses." This bonus was 60% of the total signing bonus with the remainder to be paid in 2006 or the beginning of 2007. The payout in 2007 will be significantly less than 2006. In 2008 there will be no signing bonus payments remaining.
Let's discuss exactly WHY NJA had $85 million in selloffs in 2005. There are 2 main reasons. 1) Someone, either WB or RTS let the idiot BB sell off the core fleet for short term gains. Along with this, the idiot BB was allowed to oversell a buttload of Marquis cards. Result: there were too many owners and card holders and not enough planes. This required a TON of sell offs to cover the large increase in trips. 2)Also (and this is no small potato) was the threat of a pilot strike. NJA, fearing a strike, bought even more charters to cover themselves for the holiday season. There were literally hundreds of NJA pilots sitting around FBOs during the busiest time of the year. Why? Because NJA had prepurchased all this charter. In 2006 and on NJA will need nowhere near that amount of supplemental lift.
So in the future these 2 large losses will not be present. If NJA decides to reacquire and retain a core fleet, selloffs will diminish greatly. Pilot salaries are not the issue. The major issues are scheduling and maintenence efficiency. Scheduling practices are atrotious. And maintenence practices and oversight are too cumbersome.
There is such a huge demand and huge potential for services such as NetJets. The business will survive in some form. It will be interesting to see.

Oh yeah… Then why are you cry-babies constantly on here bad mouthing your company day in, day out? You two faced morons talk out the side of your neck more than two old ladies after Sunday church. I bet I’ve been around here as long as you have, and the day I walked on the property you guys were crying.

Leave the Wolf pilot alone, he happens to be dead on target, and one of the brightest “young” pilots we have. He kept me awake across the Atlantic for 8 hours without pissing me off.

As soon as this contract is over, you’ll be back on your soapbox crying again, boo-hooing again, and threatening everyone again. Same old union crap; different song on the same old album.

I love saying it… You and your union… can’t touch me!

There is no such thing as a "bright" pilot unless they have something going on outside of aviation. A monkey can fly a plane.

apparently your wife won't either.

Taking care of the pilots is not an NJI or NJA thing it's a netjets thing.

I recently had a family issue and Netjets bent over backwards to take care of me.

Jeez Rusty

Don't be such a twit, NJA has done alot of great things for alot of our guys as well in emergency situations.

They are a great supporter of the reserves and guard.

They took great care of my family needs when I was in Iraq.

I even got a DVD from B.B. about the contract. I threw it over the fence into bad guy land.

The next day they threw it back with a note that %&%*&^% you! No!

Netjets sent me and the other 2 Netjets pilots in my unit a great Christmas package.

Don't think you NJI guys have the market cornered on being treated decent.

I'm on active duty again headed for Afghanistan so I'm out of the mix for awhile.

Very interesting to see all the "English People" correcting each other. Don't bother correcting mine. This is an internet site. How is this sentence?

"Get a grip".

Rusty, you seem to have a real attitude towards NJA.

Lose it man, these are good people too.

I can tell by your "prick level" that you would be alright to fly with.

Have a good one.

Your right on hydrarkt, but dont forget to add in exactly how much it is that the high school/college kids in scheduling have cost the company either. Millions........at the least.

...of course, I make way more money than you so I can afford it.
