I guess the handwriting is clearly on the wall down in Savannah. The first of the management folks bailed today. Many more to follow over the next couple of years. Welcome to 1108 boys and girls.

That's totally uncalled for. People move on to new jobs, retire, start their own companies or feel a calling for public office. You don't know what the circumstances were.

It's time to get together and start making some money around here. Not firing cheap shots.

Anyone care to guess if he resigned in some sort of protest to the NJA/NJI pilot integration or if it was more due to the financial state of NetJets?

Gunfyter,

If I had been your manager and called you into the office based upon "coincidence", you'd be on these message boards screaming murder. Remember about due process? Not jumping to conclusions? Being treated fairly and not making false accusations?

Wasn't this the reason we held on to the hopes and protections offered by unions so that this wouldn't be happening to US ?

Who knows maybe the poor guy has a sick wife or kid at home...I don't know.

This whole thread is pre-contract rant that should have dried up last October.

Hawkered,

Gunfyter didn't start the thread, he merely commented that it was ONLY an interesting coincidence (that's all). He didn't make any comments otherwise. Go back and read what he wrote.

There have been many changes around Netjets over the last couple of weeks, it doesn't surprise me that NJI suffered a loss also. RTS is back in the saddle.

Just my observation.

I think this guy may actually have voluntarily resigned on his own, without pressure from above. Why? Because The Great Santulli's email never mentioned the famous phrase: "chose to pursue other opportunities", which everyone knows is code for "I fired him."

The NJ biyearly house cleaning.

Stay tuned for more "coincidence".

But didn't we just do that about 24 months ago? What was that last guys name? Or the guy before?

Was reading through my newly arrived AIN today and I guess Uncle Buffet was speaking on how cruddy financial performance at NetJets was. That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see some departures at NJA as well. I'd hold off on drawing conclusions until Uncle Warren gets done cleaning his house. (and yes, it's his house) ... Any time he sees declining profit on increasing revenue you can bet he's going to chop some dead weight..
