for anyone eligible, you have until 6/30 to get your package in for the next upt board. Seeing as there are no other flying jobs right now maybe this will help.

- The 2010 UPT board is tentatively scheduled for August.
Applications must arrive by 30 June.

- Submit a
UPT Package by downloading the information. Detailed instructions are included. Please take time to thoroughly review the information before calling with questions.

- Steps Involved
- A profile of today's typical pilot candidate

good luck

While my joke was going to be different, jetpig beat me to it.

You guys look at other communities (A-10, F-15, 18, etc) for those UPT slots, or is it purely for non-winged new guys?

Being a UPT board, it is non-rated. Not sure if a A-10 guy would want to go through UPT again, but hey, Del Rio is quite nice this time of year.

so winged guys... don't bother?

I would absolutley go spend another year + in flight school!!! are you kidding?!?

Looks like average ANG stats: (submitted by 74 applicants)
PCSM 91
GPA 3.24
AFOQT Pilot 90
AFOQT NAV 78
Verbal 67
Quantitative 67
Academic Apt 68
Flt Time 447
Age 25

Keep in mind, ANG boards are very much personal interviews. They have your stats on paper. Now they need to get to know you. That's why many enlisted in a unit have a leg up. Also, I think applicants are up in this period of time due to lack of civ jobs.
