Therein lies the problem. Everyone should realize that you will never get rich working for someone else. The only way to make real money in this country is to start your own business and work for yourself. You wont get rich working for the man, you have to be the man....

This isn't about being rich. This is about making a decent wage. We are not there yet and according to the last company offer, we have a ways to go.

The latest offer appears to meet the criteria demanded in your picket signs:

NetJets Pilots seek Livable wage
NetJets Pilots The industrys safest pilots deserve a livable wage
NetJets Pilots deserve an industry leading contract. Now!

Here are the current 5 year captain wages for the fractionals from airlinepilotpay.com. Doesn't the current proposal vault you to the industry leader position?

NetJets...............60,984
CitationShares..... 63,996
FlightOptions....... 66,372
FlexJet............... 70,737

If I assume the minimum 23% raise then that would yield a wage of over $75,000....something that should fit the definition of livable.

50% on 6/4 is not livable to me...this one will rot on the vine.

As I have posted here before...

Mr. S wanted everone on the 7/7...that is all we heard for three years. What has changed?

Isnt the current schedule 50% 7-7 and 50% 17 day?

The 6-6 and 7-7 schedules work out to the same number of days worked. The 6-4 appears to be 18 work days each month, or one more day per month than the 17 day schedule...

I havent seen any quotes from Mr. Santulli asking for everyone to be on a 7-7. Do you have one to post?

Right out of one of the previous negotiators mouth. Relayed to me over dinner one night in Dec 03.

Was he not to be believed?

I dont know....it's so hard to verify any of these second or third hand stories. Maybe things have changed since Dec 03.

What's the reasoning behind a 6-6 instead of 7-7?

Sounds like Family Guy is fishing for info. Family Guy you don't know crap. There are three schedules for pilots. Are you so stupid you don't know that? Once again you show that you have no facts to post on this board. Oh yeah did I tell you today that I don't like you.
