Yes, 4600 feet dry. If it is wet then it goes up considerably. Had a flight get reassigned last week because the 5600 ft runway we were going to was wet and we wouldn't be able to take off once we got there.

Do you folks have a minimum runway length requirement for the X?

Every fleet does at NJA and those numbers vary. Does your employeer or company have one for your a/c outside the numbers in the AFM?

In our small operation? No...although shorter than 4000' sparks a conversation and I'd probably not consider anything shorter than 3400' except in case of emergency (CJ2+).

Cessna's flight planning guide for the X shows that the airplane would fit in and out of a HXD-sized runway around up to 35C at 28-29k lbs...but that size airplane into that size runway puts it pretty darn close to limits (28k lb landing just inside 80% of the available 4000', and 29k lb takeoff just under 3990' with 4300' available).

In other words, the book shows it'll just fit...but I figure NJA has the airplane's operational characteristics worked out by now and wanted to know what their risk & flight management folks figured out a practical limit to be.

Yeah, we don't take the X into HXD --- 4600 is a hard limit for us.

Plenty of room down the road in SAV though!! :D
