Look at it another way: They'd like to know how much time you have acting as PIC. While it is indeed possible for two pilots to log PIC, only one can actually be the PIC -- and that's the time they want to know on the app.
Do they go through the flight time matrices and ensure everything adds up? Apparently I stink at addition and my logbook is a bit screwed up. I am currently in the process of fixing it. But 18 years worth of flying is alot of data entry. I can get one or two of the matrix to add up correctly but then the 3rd won't! AAARRRGGGHHH! It's driving me bananas! Is it an interview killer if it isn't all correct?
Just make sure to save all your flight times once you sort them, fix the addition errors, etc. You'll have to re-enter them in the on-line application that is coming this fall. All paper resumes and applications on file will be flushed when the switch-over occurs.
If it's any consolation, my time grid and my logbook matched up 100%, down to the tenth in every column and row.
I was not hired.
I'm trying again.

PS-I think the 1st time I used the 1.2. Now I'm not going to as I have more time. I'm also only putting down PIC when I SIGNED for the aircraft, which matches my logbook (which I changed when I went digital-it's 1000% easier with an electronic logbook).
That's what I'm in the process of doing. I'm sure it'll all match up once thats done. But it's going to take a while and I'd like to get my app in right away. Anybody had the same experience I'm having? Anyone? Bueller?
