I have been in airlines for my entire flying career so I know very little about corporate flying...so...

If you are at NetJets now...and you were hiring on now...with the types of airplanes that you could reasonably get assigned to as a new hire today...given a choice, which aircraft would you choose if you wanted to...

work your butt off (lots of legs - lots of short haul - sit little)?

fly a lot but long haul (long haul/international - sit little)?

have the sweetest ride from a pilot POV (lots of room, air condition that works, lav, lots of buttons and pretty lights, etc.)?

surf the internet on your computer in the FBO all day long (fly very little)?

Thought it might be fun for those of you already there...and would be helpful to those of us on the outside looking in.

Thanks

I'll give it a shot.

Work hard, short legs: Excel

Work hard, long legs, some int'l: X

Sweetest ride: Falcon

FBO sitting: 400XP

I think that about sums things up.

Saw a 900 in the hanger at CMH last week. All I can say is "Damn!" That is one sweet ride.

To bad it has a large baggage compartment and a small cockpit. Stay far far away from the 800XP/900XP. Where you want to be is the XL, Sovreign, or X. Save your back and fly a Cessna product.

I think you got these mixed up. (Unless you're using reverse psychology for you own nefarious reasons.) The XL, Sov, and X have lots of baggage and small cockpits. The 800xp/900xp have very little baggage and a roomier cockpit.

After loading bags in the 560 for 5+ yrs I can say that loading bags in the sovereign is MUCH easier. It def works hard but I think it will problably mellow out by this time next yr. As of today we have 31 on the property and by the end of next yr it will be up to 48.

Hi!

U don't have to worry about it now. U can stay at your airline for five more years.
