I am a current AirTran pilot looking to switch from an airline to fractional flying. I have applied to NetJets. Does a face to face at airInc or a visit to corporate help get an invite? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I hear visits to corporate are not advised. Plus, there's a lot of security that won't let you in the building. Others may have info about AirInc.

Good luck.

I showed my face at one of the job fairs last summer, and I ended up with an interview. Had 1 internal LOR. Not really sure how much it helped, but I'm flying an Excel for the company right now.....

Just don't mention Kit Darby. He negotiated against us for the 2005 agreement. Sellout.

I would go get a job waiting tables at a 5 star French resturaunt, then get a degree in the culinary arts, then I would work as a concierge for a 6 star international hotel somewhere... Then you will be required to present credetials showing you have your masters or PHd in a customer service related field with at least 10 years managerial experience...

After that I would get a few shuttle landings under your belt, maybe a moon walk or two... I would then join some branch of the military and get yourself some combat time, maybe a purple heart or bronze star... Then just then maybe you can get an interview with netjets

I can't say I agree with that...

Do all you can, get LORs if you can, be professional, if possible do it with a little class. That is all anyone can ask, then be content with whatever the result.

My opinion (and that is all it is), making a personal appearance at HQ is not advised unless you have a close friend / NJA employee escorting you. Even then, I don't know if I would do it, but that's just me. AirInc? Sure. It can't hurt and it shows initiative. I don't know what weight it carries, but what the heck.

Good Luck

Without an internal rec. or two there doesn't seem to be much hope right now....

I had no internal recs and I got a phone interview 3 weeks ago.
