Sounds like you talked to Wayne Moore. I had the same feeling before I started my flight training there.

Would love to do surveying no luck finding any places that hire low time pilots!

I Don't recall the guy's name he was in an office next to the pilot shop. Glad to see someone else has the same feelings.
