OK Skygirl, point taken

I went back to my first post. I was too much a jerk when implying corporate pilots would scab. Calvin was off the deep end. I DO KNOW corporate pilots who would scab, but shouldn't have said that all would scab.

As for their complex, most still exhibit signs of having one.

You sir are a nitwit. What airline do you work for? Let me guess you probably work for a regional making the big bucks flying an RJ. Man am I jealous of you. I know plenty of guys that make as much if not more flying for corporate operators than your almighty airlines pilots. They also fly newer better equipment and have better schedules. So the "airline" guy gets in the cockpit waits for the cattle to get in and off they go. Same place everyday. Sounds exciting to me, NOT!!!
Looks like somebody struck a nerve...

Flying is a passion that burns inside of you.

OK, now THAT'S funny!

No man I couldn't have struck a nerve. Remember, they don't have any complex's.

The funny thing is: I'd trade my 121 job for a Falcon, etc in a hearbeat. But I wouldn't waste any time worrying about how a 121 guy gets more days off, or waste any time justifying my own worth.

Just out of curiousity Mr. Turbo: Why would anybody scab?

Had the choice myself in '85, got a letter from UAL...Dropped it in the trash can right away...Would rather stay low key turbo-prop FO than get involved in that mess.
Your profile says your furloughed...?

Yup furloughed and would rather stay that way than scabbing.....

(In case that was yer question)

Have worked with some scabs in the Middle East: Have heard the crying stories and the excuses and all that, but still don't get it.

WHY?

Not only do ya screw yer fellow pilots, but ya also screw yerself in the long run.

Some of the Eastern scabs could not get a good job without scabbing.
Then when the whole thing collapsed, they were not only marginally qualified, but also tainted....Well, here comes ValueJet: Pay $10K for a job to get back in the air one way or the other, then crash into the Eveglades.

Sad.
