quality of life

Don't get caught up in that big airplane mentality. Remember its the quality of life and paycheck that makes a career. Not that ABX does not have both, but if you do not make it, don't settle for a big plane and treated like crap for the rest of your career. Best of luck!

Unfortunately, not too many are taking your good advice. Look at all those "bottom feeders" flying heavies around. Look at how much they don't pay and how poorly they treat the pilots.

;)Tgates, that would be Allegiant! The 767 interior looks AWESOME!!! Love the look of the NEW cockpit!

They are making more than you'll ever make!

To Be or Not To Be???!!!

yes, all the 767s being added to our fleet will have cargo doors

Just curious, are ABX hiring or do you need a bud or two on the inside like UPS, Fedex etc.?

I've pretty much given up on the later two for that sole reason. If it makes any diff, got the type (757/767), time on both and currently flying international frieght on 747s.

Wouldn't mind coming home - if it's worth my while!!!:) Trouble is I probably have to take an immediate 50% drop in salary and go to the bottom, again. Just another crazy idea...........

Unfortunately, not hiring. The company sent furlough notices last month, but the union worked to get the affected SO's into 9 FO class instead. A few PFE were, however, released. As the DC-8's are removed from service, those crews will transition to the other ac, so I doubt we'll see any hiring for awhile.
