just talked with a friend of mine that has been flying for AA since '88. word is that another 300 pilots will be furloughed in the coming months.

furloughing 300 during peak season doesn't seem to make much sence...don't think so....but then who knows it's AMR

Neither does having an avatar with a kermit doggy styling another stuffed toy...but hey, who am I to judge?

American pilots just won millions in a lawsuit against their company to make up for their lost wages as a result of regionals taking away their flying. I can see furloughs being used as tool against the American pilots union.

I see the bad moon arising.
I see trouble on the way.
I see earthquakes and lightnin’.
I see bad times today.

Don’t go around tonight,
Well, it’s bound to take your life,
There’s a bad moon on the rise.

I hear hurricanes ablowing.
I know the end is coming soon.
I fear rivers over flowing.
I hear the voice of rage and ruin.

Hope you got your things together.
Hope you are quite prepared to die.
Looks like we’re in for nasty weather.
One eye is taken for an eye.
