1. What does 'junior man' mean with regard to scheduling?

2. What is a 'nap'?

1. When you get called in on your days off to do a trip (and you're stupid enough to answer the phone). You can also get extended. That's when you get called at the end of your current trip to do another one. Different airlines call it different things.
2. A nap is a continuous duty overnight. Usually one leg out late at night, and another leg back in 5 or 6 hours later, with the time in between spent at the hotel.

2. Also known as a High Speed, A Stand Up or a Bend Over, depending on what airline you're working for.

A junior man has to buy all the booze.

And a nap is the period of time you and your crew are allowed to consume said booze.

it's a continuous duty overnight that makes you want to kill yourself, especially after doing 4 in a row...
