That's right. But it was in 1930 on Eastern Air Transport. In 2008 dollars, it's $265. You were allowed up to thirty pounds of baggage for free, up to fifty pounds for another $11, or $135 in today's dollars, for a total of $400. And that included four stops in EWR, PHL, BAL, and DC. Three hundred miles in four hours, and service was provided by a Ford Tri-motor.
