Sounds like profiling to me!

TSA...Uhm, yeah...

I personally have the worst time with the small town overnight TSA people:

I routinely keep my toiletries/lotion/makeup in a plastic bag just in case they want to screen me like a regular passenger....mind you, I am commuting in UNIFORM.....I failed to put a small bottle of lotion in with the other crap (zipped it in a side pocket) and got pulled aside saying I could not have it. I argued for about 5 minutes to no avail.

Captain laughed and said "She's flying up front with me today. I think the lotion won't be a problem."

TSA ogre looked at us in horror. Had to call a supervisor to clear it up.

TSA making mistakes? Mis-informed? Scrutinizing grandmas & pilots? It apparently happens all the time. :D

Yeah the problem is called being overweight, it happens. I have a high body temp and will sweat in low temps as well. Has been that way all my life. Regardless it shouldn't make me a target.

Hmmm.....maybe everyone else isn't sweating enough???

I am glad I am no longer flying in the states anymore having to put up with the whole TSA BS on a daily basis! However, in the past 2 months have have re-entered the US 4 times as a regular passenger comming home from various flying contracts overseas. 3 of the 4 times I have been pulled aside for extra screening as I am going through the TSA checkpoints just after customs. I guess being the only clean cut, casually dressed, white guy with a US passport makes me a threat! I am in shape and dont have a sweating problem either! I just dont get it!

It's because you're from Iowa.

File a harassment complaint with the TSA and write a letter to your senator and congressman.

This is a good idea. I've written my congressman once in my life regarding a VA mortgage that we were being run around with for 6 months...3 days after my congressman adressed the issue, we had the mortgage and the lending bank ultimately lost their VA lending priveleges! Who knows, maybe this particular TSA fool will end up working in food service!

I think you just wrote "hole process".......
He, he, he, he..........
-By getting "pulled aside" do you mean you got to spend some quality personal time with "helga-mistress of the rubber glove?" I'll bet she gave you some very special "hole time."

Ok so I didn't press the W in far enough to spell the word properly.....now if I could figure out how to edit the post I'd fix it.

Not true. I have gained a poochy belly from sitting on my ass for 14 hour days. Also, not eating at regular times makes you fat because your body goes into starvation mode. I would probably even be fatter but I can't afford food on my pay.

Totally agree.....

I especially like the last pooch line.
