Any word or info on the new contract negotiations?

Just wondering what might be in the works ---

Possibly a new .50/1/1.50 instead of the 1/2/3 would be a good start?!?

Just kidding --- Any good info?

"Excellent! Looking forward to getting my card...

Excellent!

Looking forward to getting my card in the mail! It'll go immediately into the round file just like it did in years past."GBG

"I'm happy here at FlexJet and am looking forward to the meeting info tomorrow. One more thing...YES, thank you Strong Union...you guys have greatly impacted this industry! I just don't believe that we need a union over at FlexJet."GBG

GBG I didnt think you liked unions. You were/are against them at Flexjet. Why the change of heart? Why would you want to work for a union shop like SWA?

Uh, Vixin,

My feelings about having a union at FlexJet (haven't had a change of heart about that) has absolutely nothing to do with wondering what might be in the pipe with the new contract at Southwest.

So, anyone else have anything good to contribute?

No idea how much longer, although we're told progress is good. Patience is the refrain from Dallas these days. Honestly there aren't even good rumors floating around right now.

Just wondering why you want to goto a union company being against unions? The scope/codeshare is getting hammered out now, some say after that is finalized it should be smoother sailing. Possibly by the time you get on property, they will be working on the meat of the contract.

Things must be going well..I haven't seen SWA slowing up their taxi speed at all yet...:D

And, you won't! What good would that do? Oh I get it, we will piss off our customers to show the company we mean business. GMAFB:rolleyes:

I have it from a reliable source that there has been a proposal for a Flight Attendant exchange program with Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways, and Scandanavian Air Service.

The downside is we'll have to accept PBS and a 10% paycut, but the general consensus is that it's a small price to pay.

Please don't contribute anything to this message board ever again!

I'd vote for that in a heartbeat

Peter is mad cause Greg "made out" with Marcia.

Marcia alleges in her new book she made out with Jan.

Personally, I think she just wants to sell some books, pocket a lot of money, and bury the whole "Brady image" and be left alone.

The 10% paycut and PBS is a deal breaker, unless the FA exchange program includes an after flight massage and happy ending. Then we'll talk... ;)

Trust me, you don't want the CX girls. Most don't play that nice with the crew . The girls from Thai however, now that is worth some serious "wiggle room" if you know what I mean.
