New SWA chief of training, a good thing?

Amazing! This is the first thread I have seen where SWA guys are actually critical of their own operation. I am an outsider, but it seems like every post I have read from a SWA pilot has been nothing but rainbows and unicorns regarding their ops. Just an observation. Good to see there are open minds.

Why would you need a Director AND a Senior Director? SWA would probably save millions by trimming redundant management positions throughout the company.

Too late, already submitted mine! Interview scheduled for Friday. Seems the job consists of echoing everything anyone else says or does. My first point of order... Re-issuing every bulletin from the past 2 years, but attaching my name to them. I figure you pilots are lazy by nature, and forcing you to re-read 200 bulletins again, (cleverly disguising them as "new") will result in serious redundant productivity. I can see my bonus soaring as I type. Wish me luck!
