Don't you understand, Ifly?

If a conservative makes a statement like "Dems like big gov't and Repubs don't", it's a hollow cliche.

If a liberal makes a statement like "Conservatives follow Rush Limbaugh in lockstep, and besides, Limbaugh is briefed each morning by the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy on what to say on his show", it's a FACT.

Right?

Oh to live in a world where it were all so easy!! They're all a pack of self-aggrandizing liars anyway, it's all about which one looks better on TV. :)

You missed the point

Hey Waka,

I don't recall calling myself a democrat or a republican.

What I addressed was that in your post you stated (and I qoute)

The federalizing of security screeners was a republican idea. It was the typical knee-jerk republican reaction.

...that was an incorrect statement.

It was a democratic initiative to federalize the screeners. You might note it passed in the Senate 100- 0. So, yes Republicans voted for it as well. (gee I guess they forgot to listen to Rush that day, huh? What ever happened to lock stepping?)

I was attempting to eduate you on the facts of the matter.

Of course, I know some people don't like the facts to get in the way of their informed opinions.

Lighten up

InHot,

So you were attempting to educate? ...hard to swallow when you open your post with rhetoric like;

"Go back to school and take a civics course... and then take away this concept:

"The democrats like Big Gov't, the republicans don't.""

I don't see any of your so-called "facts" there.

As for mine being an "incorrect statement, I disagree based on what was already presented.

Anyway, sorry if my first post came across as abrasive.

Peace
