Troy,

I found those on flipdog.com. There are other sites that list employers. Try a search on this site for job listings. I think cardinal or cardinal RG posted a very exhaustive list.

Otherwise, findapilot.com, climbto350.com, even monster.com and careerbuilder.com list pilot jobs.

Individual companys will list contacts for pilot positions on their respective web sites.

vossdr1--I think I know who you are. Mr. Crehan mentioned your name (if it's the same one I'm thinking about). Did you go through the Aviation program? If so, I found out yesterday that Mr. Crehan is now retired.

Well Troy,
I graduated from The Ohio State University. I don't think I've ever been to South Dakota. I don't recall meeting a Mr. Crehan.

Another SD resident here, but I'm a foreigner (I live west river). I used to fly out of KFSD. Nice BA logo troy.

vossdr1, guess I wasn't thinking of the correct person. Woops!

Jergar999, Thanks, guess that I can't take credit for the logo, I just work for BA.....and I'd rather be west river flying instead of here. I've always wanted to fly out of Custer in the fall.

Troy,

You were probably directing your comment to me. Yes, I did go through the aviation program. Crehan retired? I just talked to him about a month ago?!

Are you in the SDSU program in BKX?

ERJpusher,

Yes, I'm in the Aved program. Crehan just retired, I got a private e mail from him the other day and he sent out a group e mail today. His wife was still living in La, and he sounded like he just got tired of being seperated. It also had a hint of problems coming from his coworkers. His e mail is still the same, the yahoo address.

I'm not looking for any aviation jobs and likely never will again, but, I, too appreciate your putting this up for everyone's benefit. Good sign, maybe, that places are advertising for low-time pilots.

What I find interesting and encouraging about this ad is the school apparently is willing to hire instructors from the outside. You don't see that often unless the place is needing to hire a lot of staff. That could mean anything, of course, but I prefer to think positively, meaning that maybe companies higher-up on the aviation food chain picked up some instructors, which would mean that hiring overall is picking-up again. Pay could be a little better, though, but that should not deter any instructor from applying.

Good opportunity, assuming that the place is sincere about hiring from the outside.
