Well...

I just got a job flyin in so cal... there are jobs out there I guess, not much though... I didnt think there would be for a while.... lol

Thanks to those in this board that helped out when I was lookin... I tell u somethin though.. climbto350 and planejobs didn't help at all.... perhaps either thousands end up applying for that one job, or that the jobs they've posted aren't current and accurate. Now I know, that word of mouth, referrals and personal visits get you where you want to be.

Good luck to those searching.... I'm hoping this economy turns around... I know the stock market has reversed from the down trend... thank god!

Congrats!

I guess none of the leads I gave you panned out....PM me...where are you working now?

Starting

How do you start out in the corporate world? Any hints will help out... I've been instructing for the past 1400 hours, and I'm always following a Hawker/Challenger/Lear on 10 mile finals. I wanna fly one of those!!! What are some minimums/requirements for a corporate job?

corp job

Where are you located?

You may want to hang out at your nearest jet fbo or charter office.... start talkin to the pilots there and get to know them.... you can't beat referrals.... in fact, that's how I got my first jet job... lol... walked up to the pilots pulling a lear out of a hangar... then a few months latr, they needed a dispatcher part time... there i was.... then, the citation copilot seat opened up .... and the rest is history...

I'm in Dallas... CFI out of ADS. Plenty of jet charter places around here. Guess I'll go see if they need any help around the place, desk line fuel etc. I'm trainable )
