Not that I want them to fail, I hope they are a booming success, but does anyone have stats on the number or percentage of startup aviation based companies that fail? I bet it's pretty dismal. Probably wondering because I went to work for one and they lasted about 2 years.
 
I don't wish any bad luck but I'd have my doubts.......

say maybe 6 pax at move per trip thats 160 times 6 times 2 (back and forth) or 12 times 160 is 1920 gross (at best/full both ways/all the time). Bet you an s-76 costs more than that to operate between downtown and JFK than that.
 
Wasn't there an outfit like this a long time ago called New York Airways? I think a couple high profile accidents ended that venture. I agree it's hard to see how they could make a profit charging those peanut fares.
