Had a managment pilot in Jumpseat last night and he said new unofficial closing for SW and AT is January 2011

Wow. Great news. I guess your "management pilot" jumpseater will be able to pull strings in Washington.

3 months sounds VERY optimistic to me - but Oberstar is gone so maybe......

Gup

It's possible. Look at the TWA/aa siutation.

In my dreams...

Well, there's the SEC (I can believe. Wall Street wants mergers.), the DOJ (maybe, if there are no official complaints. Most likely hold out.), and the DOT (shouldn't be a problem, but you never know). Now, if some other party files a lawsuit......

There might be some interest in getting the paperwork in for the 2010 tax year.

didn't ual/cal only take 4 months with the DOJ? I could be wrong. It has happened maybe once before!

Management pilot is code for "I don't know nuthin' but I will start rumors so I will be "in" with the line dogs."
